Always been into music from the age of 7 when I bought my first single in Woolies – it was Blondie, Union City Blue, before you ask. Growing up near Oxford, I was too young and untrendy to be swept up by the Soul Boy bug etc, but fell in love with the electronica of Kraftwerk and early House at the age of 15/16. It’s been my passion ever since. The whole of the 90’s and 00’s were spent partying pretty hard I must say – I was always a dancer rather than a DJ. DJ’s I’ve always admired/been influenced by include, Harvey, Weatherall, Sean Johnston, Rocky & Diesel, Thomas Bullock, Derrick Carter, to name but a few, some of whom I’m lucky enough to be mates with (which helps when getting the heads up on tunes).
