2100HRS (UK) the Soup Sessions with the Hip Cat Express boys… “Hip Cat Express began as a club night in January 2009 at the Compasses pub in Rushden but within a couple of months had grown so significantly that we were forced to relocate to a bigger venue, in the intervening years we have dj’d in high streets, in parks, in function rooms and in clubs for Scooter Clubs, Mod bands, Tribute acts, charity, for ourselves and for those who love Mod and Northern Soul Music. There are three DJs that cover the spectrum of what is a huge Umbrella of music. Rob Gair, Steve Fuller and Claud Fratangelo, all blessed with an encyclopedic knowledge of Mod/Northern Soul music and culture, genuine devotees to the scene who play all of their tunes on vinyl.
