11.07.12 Soup Sessions with Neil Queen-Jones
2100HRS (UK) the Soup Sessions with Neil Queen-Jones… Despite his best efforts to lead a life of blissful idling, Neil Queen-Jones has somehow been duped into spending over 20 years at the business end of the underground music scene. As a DJ, promoter, music journalist and pr (insert name-dropping contextualisation here: Mixmag, The Guardian, Vamos Promo, I Love What I’m Doing, The Times, Blow Up, Dazed & Confused etc), Neil has meandered through genres likes that bloke from the old Kung Fu TV series who died horribly, so expect a Soup Session that drifts all over the shop, from global beats to northern soul, from hip hop to soundtracks and osbsuro nuggets of all kinds. And yes, there will be moombahton. CONTACT THE SHOW DIRECT (E-MAIL)
